If somebody reads a writing they most of the time want to know about the person who wrote it so I'm going to introduce myself. My name is Livia. I am German. I was born in Berlin like my brother who is 10 years old. This is my 4th and last year in Morocco. Before that I lived 1 year in Berlin and 7 years in Frankfurt. I go to a small international English speaking school in Rabat. That was a big change for me because before that I went to a German school. I knew how to speak English a bit because my dad speaks English. I have one cat and a few turtles. That is all I can say about me to give a better overview.
Life in Morocco
In Germany I see one car crash per week here in Morocco I see one every time I leave the house with the car. The differences that I think of right away is the traffic. In Germany the traffic is much more organized. There are police officers here but i don’t think they help much to organize the traffic. The polices officers that are working in the streets in Germany have strict rules for punishing people who brake the rule like go to prison if they did something really bad or they have to pay some money to the officer. I never heard as much honking in Germany as I do here. People always want to be first . They start overtaking on the left side which then causes a car crash. People have to wait until everything is gone and then keep going. Most people need to get to work so they all start honking until it is like a concert. While in Germany you are not allowed to honk in certain areas if you do the driver can get in trouble. There are much more differences between Morocco and Germany but the traffic is definitely one of the main differences.

Welcome to my Blog!!!!!
Last week our grade visited three different Berber villages. We learned about their culture, families, daily lives, how they get educated, what kind of food they eat and how important animals are to their lives. We will study about the Berber traditions. How they celebrate their celebrations, what their beliefs are. Another topic is the origin. Where did the Berbers come from or how did they get to live in Morocco. We are also going to explore the history of Morocco. All the topics will somehow connect to the Moroccan people.
